Thing I try to do daily and weekly in EVE.

Morning all, thought I would do a quick update as I have been missing for a bit. With some of the recent changes I have refocused some of my efforts, moved corporations, moved systems (3-4 times), moved my planetary interaction 2-3 times... so just playing EVE I guess.

So, let's start with things I try to do weekly.

1. Friday Night/Saturday do my Planetary Interaction (PI).

2. Move Ice to MJ-5F9 for sell to alliance buyback programs.

3. Reset any moon mining that I hit along the way.

Things I try to do daily.

1. Mine.

2. Log-in rewards.

3. Post contract at end of night for my corp's buyback program.

4. Scan system.

5. Clear ratting sites that spawn in system.

6. Maybe do some PVP if it is needed or required.

Moving into the article. When I jumped to my new corporation in Pandemic Horde, I scouted out their systems and wanted to do several things to be more efficient with my time. First, I like to mine. It is the main thing that I enjoy in EVE as I can calculate ISK per minute/cycle of my mining lasers time number of ships and boosts. Two, a side hustle is planetary interaction (PI). I hate it but CCP did give us some nice updates in a recent expansion or two of templates and supposedly resetting extractors. When I lived south of MJ-5F9 in the SR-10Z pocket I had PI in one system, corp industrial park in another system, and ice/nullsec anomalies in two-three other systems. Also, no corp moon mining down there so was hit or miss. Plus side, only 4 gates to MJ-5F9 and or one jump for the Aeon/Rorqual/Anshar. I was also scatter brained trying to do all 8 P4s... big mistake never even made any in the weeks I had rolling.

Fast forward to today. In a new corporation, much more active, has good infrastructure and is stable. Has multiple industrial parks, tons of moon mining in my system or others, and good selection of PI opportunities. I did some quick ADHD math of wanting less clicks in my life and decided to do 3 of the P4s, but I optimized them to the three that use a P1+ 2xP3s making it, so I didn't have to move as much as I was making the P1 on that planet already. Less clicks = happy Yucca.

I also changed up my PI set up to do mostly P1 to P2 on a single planet. Yes, it is less efficient. But this is a long game of cane I make ISK while doing something I like as opposed to an optimized PI set up that I won't use at all. Here is a list of the P1>P2s that I focused on and how many I have rolling currently (shout out to google docs and free spreadsheets):

Now, to show the basic plan for the rest of the process as I have several accounts with three characters each:

Clearly a work in progress but hey that is what this Mining Adventure is all about. But that being said, this is still baby stages as you can see, I haven't even finished setting up Yucca's alt due to having visitors that I had to kill near by a day or so ago:

Zkillboard was being weird and didn't record the kill. But luckily the game did, and I did get in on the pod and ship kill with Yucca and a neighbor as you can see. I am not a big PVP bro, but if you rob an ESS near me, I generally will see if I can beat Horde Standing to it to give you a quick small gang fight.

But back to PI and doing things weekly, previously when I was in M-SG47 I could earn about 2.4-3 billion ISK a week doing P1 and some other PI stuff down there. I never got the P4 rolling. But in the new system I am being somewhat effective:

About a billion or so minus some remnants I moved up here with the Squalls from M-SG47. But I did make three, count them three, Nano-Factory so far. Sad. But I will be getting more as I upscale to around 50-55 planets feeding each P3>P4 factory planet. that being said let's look at our planets set up:

So on Yucca I am producing the Nano-Factory using this set up:

10 extractors power the P1. Surplus gets shipped off planet along with the P4 Nano-Factory. Harris uses the same set up for her two P4s as part of my template. Weekly I stock the customs office with the 4 x P2s to power the 2 x P3s that you see in the two top columns above the launch pad and storage unit. The launch pad routes it to the 8 x P3 factories. Those factories route to the storage + P1 + base materials. The two lower P4 high-tech production plants send to the launchpad.

Super simple set up that lets me move stuff from the planet to customs office as I mine and restock the launch pad with more P2 materials to keep up production throughout the week. Could I make more doing 2 x planets for P3 and then moving that P3 and P1 to this planet? Yes. But I want this to be as passive as possible.

This is one of my P1>P2 planets on Yucca. I use the exact same set up on almost every planet on 32 PI toons/my main miners. Two extractors send material to storage. The top two Basic Industry facilities send it to the launch pad, the launch pad feed the single Advanced Industry facility on the bottom. Again, could I optimize? Yes. This is made to be passive.  My goal is reset the extractors Friday/Saturday and harvest everything send it to Yucca/Harris to restock the P3>P4 production chain while harvesting the P4. If I get too much P3 I expedited transfer it from where it is stored and then sell it on alliance contract in MJ-5F9 in BEANSTAR.

That being said: Anyone have any recommendations to optimize/clean up my set up?

Thank you for reading with me and see you in space.
